Course Summary

Intradermal vaccine administration is a specialist administration technique that involves injecting a small amount of vaccine directly into the dermis, the layer of skin just below the epidermis.

This method is different from subcutaneous or intramuscular injections, which deliver the vaccine into the tissues beneath the skin.

Intradermal vaccination can offer advantages compared to other types of vaccination, like an improved immune response to vaccines, a potential reduction of the antigen dose, and decreased anxiety and pain.

The program delivered by Benchmarque Group is a practical, skills based workshop delivering a competency based outcome for students.

On successful completion, students will be issued a Certificate of Attendance as a record of CPD hours completed and a Certificate of Completion to show employers proof of course completion.
