Achieving a 95% National Target

To help support communities and drive these numbers back toward the 95% national target, Benchmarque Group have developed a Infant Respiratory Protection Animation Resource specifically for any Healthcare Professional working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and communities.

Respiratory syncytial virus (RSV), Influenza and Whooping Cough poses a significant public health challenge, particularly for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander populations including infants, the elderly, and individuals with chronic medical conditions.

A growing number of health professionals play a crucial role in promoting uptake of immunisations to protect against respiratory infections, helping to prevent severe illness and hospital admissions.

The free Infant Respiratory Protection Animation Resource has been developed by Benchmarque Group to provide HCPs with the skills and knowledge to work directly with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families, parents and patients to increase understanding of the importance of RSV, Influenza and Pertussis protection.

Resource

In addition to the animation, you can also download a PDF resource to share with colleagues around the importance of Infant Protection Programs.

An Infant Respiratory Animation Resource has been designed to equip Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Practitioners and Health Workers and non-indigenous Healthcare Professionals to improve childhood respiratory health outcomes with a targeted focus on Influenza, RSV, and Pertussis (Whooping Cough) within the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
