We are delighted to announce the launch of our new Ear and Hearing Health program bundles. The new programs are designed to enable you to transition skills directly to the workplace on workshop completion.
Having launched our first Course in Ear Irrigation in 2008, the newly accredited courses mark 14 years of development and innovation in the delivery of skills training and the delivery of best practice outcomes.
The three programs:
Hearing and Ear Health Foundations for Healthcare Professionals (online)
This program encompasses a wide range of topics including anatomy and physiology of the ear, the basics of hearing and hearing loss, ear hygiene and common ear conditions. This program is designed for clinical and non-clinical professionals working within the healthcare sector.
Ear Wax Removal (Irrigation) – 1 day workshop
This program aims to develop the knowledge and skills to be able to manage wax (cerumen) and the irrigation process including risks, safe practice, complications, follow up and referral recommendations. At the completion of the workshop, students will be workplace ready.
Ear Health Assessment Program – 3 day workshop
This program is the pinnacle of ear health courses and is designed to provide you with specialist knowledge to perform comprehensive ear health examinations and hearing health evaluations. Students will learn the fundamentals of performing otoscopy, tympanometry, and the theoretical components of audiometric screening, whilst understanding the associated risks and complications. At the completion of the workshop, students will be workplace ready.
